St Mary’s College is a Foundation – Year 10 Catholic College.

Seymour is a historic railway township located in the Southern end of the Goulburn Valley in the Mitchell Shire and is located 100 kilometres north of Melbourne. On the banks of the Goulburn River; 2 minutes from the Hume Freeway with multiple daily V Line services. Nearby to the Great Victorian Rail Trail, gourmet fair and scenic countryside, Seymour makes for a great central location to all of Victoria’s offerings.

A new Primary Learning Centre will open at the College in 2022 and a Master Plan is in development alongside the F-12 Pathway team researching a return to Year 12.

Applications for the Director of Learning & Teaching position, commencing January 2022, are invited from suitably qualified and experienced educators who want to join our wonderful staff and students and teach in the spirit of Mercy Values. This is a three-year designated POL 4 position (2022-2024), with ongoing employment status. Following a review in the third year there is a possibility of reappointment to the role.

The Director of Learning & Teaching is a member of the College Executive, leading the Curriculum Team and has a major role in developing a future learning pedagogy for St Mary’s College.
